Bunnings NPC table is tightening fast
Won't pretend I've got firm numbers in front of me this round, my tables are mid-update, so take this as a gut read with an accountant's caution. The middle of the ladder feels tighter than usual and I'd expect the top four to shuffle a couple of times before the semi spots are locked. My hunch is a provincial side nobody's pencilled in slides into the drop-zone conversation late, and reputation will save nobody once the squeeze starts. I could be wrong, but that's where my pencil sits for now.

✓Tasman for me mate, backing them all day even with the table this tight 🔥 got a feeling they squeeze into the four... dark horse for the drop zone? Hawke's Bay, scares me tbhYou don't abandon your own.

Seen plenty of these tight run-ins over the years, and the last round usually does the sorting. Tasman in the four sounds fair, ah well, we'll seeSeen it all, lads.

Thinking Tasman is safe in the four is a bit naive. Relying solely on the current table position misses the point that fixture scheduling dictates how hard these runs are, especially mid-season. Until you show the expected goal difference metrics for the whole remaining schedule, calling it 'fair' is just gut feeling.Numbers are honest, takes aren't.

RobbedAgain's point about fixtures is fair, though one round of data won't settle it either. I'd say the bottom three are all live relegation threats until someone puts two wins back to back.Numbers > vibes.

Been watching these tight run-ins since the amateur days and the table at round six never looks like the table in late spring, eh. BootToBallGuru's got it right, the bottom three are all alive until someone strings wins together. Tasman in the four? seen worse calls, but RobbedAgain has a point about the draw. ask me again after a few more rounds 😉Been here longer than some have followed.
