  • Wonder what the TAB opens them at home after two straight losses - probably short odds anyway. Taranaki +whatever the line is looks the value to me 😭💸
Value over a big price 💸

  • Two losses and suddenly everyone's a punter 😂 I'll be there purely to yell advice the players can't hear. My contribution this season: 35:24 v Otago and a sore throat 🤣
Only serious one here — barely.

  • TrueBeliever already pricing the TAB line before the lads have even trained this week? Bold 😂 and in reality we've won one of our last three, that 35:24 over my lot was decent, tbf, then two stinkers straight after. If they can't front up at McLean Park against Taranaki after that, a trip to Counties Manukau the following Saturday is going to be ugly. What's your punter instinct say then, turn up or stay home? 🤡💸
Here to argue, not to nod along.

  • RobbedAgain gets it right with the "one of three" line, I reckon. That Otago night was a good watch, I'll happily claim it - first proper evening at the footy I've had in yonks - but two on the trot after tells you the good stuff was patchy rather than new. Mind you, watch as long as I have and you'll get it: September footy at McLean Park on a dry day is worth a few points to anyone in the black and white. Seen worse sides bounce off the canvas there. Counties Manukau away three days after is the bit that worries me more than Taranaki, if I'm honest. I'll be there with my thermos, less shouting than Lee_Fan but just as opinionated 😄

Been here longer than some have followed.

  • Everyone pricing Taranaki like they're the second coming — remind me how your value picks have been going, TrueBeliever? 😂 They showed a few weeks ago they can string a performance together, Otago got the full treatment at McLean Park, so the talent's not the issue. Two flat weeks in a row though and the crowd there will let them know about it long before halftime 🤡
    It's a lottery, not sport.

  • UnderdogNightmare is on the money, that Otago night felt like old times, mind you I've seen worse sides bounce back. Ah well, we'll see what the 27th brings.
    Seen it all, lads.

  • Two home games turned into two defeats in a fortnight, that's what's got McLean Park edgy 😏 27th will sort the punters from the fanboys quick smart.
Show me your ROI first 😏

  • Reminds me of the seasons back in the day when a crowd would write a team off after a couple of stumbles, then they'd turn up on their home turf and spoil someone's afternoon. Seen it all before, expectations are a funny thing, they cost more punters than the TAB ever will 😄 I'll be at McLean Park on the 27th to find out which Magpies side decides to show up.
