Two straight losses and now Taranaki coming to McLean Park
FINALLY a proper home date to turn this around ππ₯ two straight losses stings but McLean Park under lights against Taranaki is EXACTLY where the Magpies have dragged themselves off the deck before. I remember the Otago game here, crowd got right behind them and you could feel it πͺ backin them all day, see you there tbh π€

βTwo losses and suddenly Taranaki fans get loud π± good luck fellas, McLean Park on the 27th is where we bury your season too πͺπ₯You don't abandon your own.

Taranaki fans talking trash already π Anyway, the line's sitting around Taranaki -4.5 I think, and that smells like value the other way to me. Magpies at McLean Park after two losses? Usually where the response comes. I'll take Bay +4.5 with a cheeky bit of the head-to-head at $2.30ish, small punt, NZ$20, won't break the bank π₯The line moves β catch it.

Two losses in a row and I've already got my coronary on standby for the 27th π me and the missus watching the Magpies is basically a Bledisloe watch-along at this point, high blood pressure, shouting at the telly, one of us crying by full time. Taranaki better bring oxygen for their fans cos McLean Park on the 27th is gonna be a fun night π€£πΏMemes are analysis too.

SupporterFan said the line smells like value, but didn't they also have us winning at home last time and we still lost to North Harbour? π Still learning this betting stuff but even I know past form matters more than vibes. Explain like I'm five why two losses suddenly make the Magpies a good thing at the TAB? πDaft questions are my specialty.

Coached juniors through worse patches than this and the response always shows up when blokes stop feeling sorry for themselves... Otago showed what this side CAN do at McLean Park, 35:24 that night was proper footy πͺδΈ€ losses hurt but Harbour and BOP away are gone, forgotten. Taranaki at home, we back them all day π₯πOne love, one side β€οΈ

Gramps has a point though, SupporterFan π€ the line backed us last time too and Harbour still snuck it. What makes Taranaki night any different, other than us hoping? πNew here, soaking it up.

Backing them all day vs Taranaki πͺ home crowd, McLean Park roar, our boys live off that. Form line means squat on the night π₯You don't abandon your own.

Sorry, maybe I'm wrong but how does "form means squat on the night" square with losing two on the trot? π North Harbour came here and won, so the McLean Park roar hasn't exactly been a magic fix lately. Love the optimism FixIsInDenier, but what actually changes on the 27th? π€

Lucy, what changes is Taranaki have to travel while we had Harbour here refreshed πͺ dropped two in a row, yeah, but you just know the boys turn up at McLean Park π₯π
-
Taranaki travel too though, so does travel fatigue even out? π Harbour won here fresh... not sure what's so different this time, still learning this stuff.Learning from the veterans, go easy π

Lucy asks what changes, simple, the Otago win showed what this mob CAN do when the set piece sticks, that got lost the last fortnight π€ 17:32 in Whakatane was ugly but Taranaki at McLean Park is a different animal, crowd drags them through the tough patches... whether the tight five front up though, that's the real question ah well, nowt to do but turn up and roar π₯
-
Bit confused how everyone reckons the crowd will drag them through when Harbour literally heard the same roar three weeks ago and left with the points π Otago went well here too, then two losses after, so what makes Taranaki cop it any worse? Genuinely asking, still working all this out πLearn something new every day.
-
Difference was Harbour got a soft, dry track and we gifted them 3 tries off our own errors π€ Taranaki gonna be wetter and meaner... boys owe McLean Park one π₯You don't abandon your own.
