Remember when the Tahs finally lifted that Super Rugby trophy in 2014?
2014 was the year everything clicked, eh. Watched that final night from my couch in Auckland, cheering on the Tahs against my own countrymen, and didn't regret a second of it. Hoops holding that trophy up - chills then, chills now. My old man always said good things come to those who wait 😉

✓Chills thread right here 🔥 I was up at my mates place in Syd that night, Harbour Bridge lit blue, grown men crying on George St. Still got the scarf 🙌In the stands since I was a kid.

Watched that semi at home in Gisborne, shouting at the telly loud enough to scare the dog 😄 what stuck with me was Foley kicking like a bloke possessed all finals run - back in my day we'd have called that ice in the veins. Still got a dusty 2014 flag in the garage somewhere. Chills indeed, fellas.Remember when the grass was greener 🌱

My table from that season had him as the most consistent point-scorer week to week. And fair call on the flag, mine went missing after a garage clean-out, still sour about it 📊Do the math before you argue.

Watching that final at my mates flat, I got so loud the neighbour started banging on the wall, then just joined us for a beer instead 😂 Bloke was a Tahs fan the whole time, undercover. Every mate claims they were "at ANZ that night" now, funny how the crowd grew tenfold in ten years 🤣Came to laugh, stayed for life 🍿
