That said, four points clear with a game in hand feels like a different animal, and I've seen worse Chiefs sides than this one pinch a miracle. While you blokes argue over the top seed, spare a thought for the poor buggers down the bottom. Highlanders on 24 look safe enough, but Fijian Drua on 21 could still be dragged in if the Highlanders trip, and Moana Pasifika on 9 from 14 - one win all season, are basically gone. I could be wrong, but that nine-point gap with three rounds left feels like maths rather than hope. 📊

Chiefs 4 back with two to play isn't nothing though, seen worse chases fall over than that.
