✓happy birthday LauraReds 😄 hard to believe the mud saga was that long ago, i was there that day myself and my boots never quite forgave albany for it. back in the day we'd have been standing in the old embankment getting soaked, no complaints then either. hope you get a good one, love, and here's to plenty more seasons in the harbour stand with the rest of us stubborn lot. see you at the next home game, first round's on me. ah well, we'll seeSeen it all, lads.

Hang on StandsGuy88, I'll gently dispute one bit - "mud saga proved it" undersells her a bit. The mud saga was one bad afternoon; LauraReds has been front and centre through some genuinely grim winter evenings at Albany when half the stand called in sick and I nearly did myself. I could be wrong, but I reckon I've only ever seen her seat empty once, and even then she texted the group from the airport asking for the score. what a coincidence, LauraReds. My daughter shares her birthday week with you, so i always remember 😄 happy birthday, love. chrisdiehard is spot on there. i remember one of those midwinter thursday games where the rain came sideways off the harbour and i genuinely thought about staying home in Dunedin-warm... sorry, my living room. and there laura was at the gate like always, directing people to the dry spots under the stand. back in my day we called that sort of person the glue of a club, and she's earned that title many times over. seen worse nights than any of them, but never worse company. have a beauty of a day laura, and drinks round at ours before the next home game 🍻😉Been here longer than some have followed.
