Twenty years on and I still get goosebumps watching Jonah run over
i remember that night like it was yesterday - up at some ungodly hour with my old man, kettle going, the two of us wedged on the couch watching Jonah just run through England like they weren't there. my old man nearly spilled his tea when Lomu got going down that touchline 😄. thirty years on and it still gives me goosebumps thinking about it, ah well, we'll see if anything ever tops it.

✓Big fella wasn't even born yet when I was 😂 grew up on the old VHS though, watched that semi so many times the tape wore out 🔥 Jonah over those England blokes still gives me chills tbh 🙌You don't abandon your own.

i was flatting in dunedin that winter, four of us squeezed round a tiny telly, half past three in the morning, and the whole street knew when jonah hit that line 😄 goosebumps still, twenty years on.Been here longer than some have followed.

My old man reckons he woke the whole street that morning, but the truth is I snuck out of bed, watched it with the volume down on 2 so mum wouldn't hear, and still got caught 😂 Worth every grounding, those England blokes looked like they'd paid full price for Jonah to do a demo. Goosebumps then, goosebumps now 🤣

@Lee_Fan that's one guy doing it to four English defenders though, not a kid twice your size. Big fella was a genuine outlier, and I'll believe any "can't be replaced" talk only once we actually see someone like him again.Sample first, conclusions after.
