Still get goosebumps watching the 2015 haka before the final
i remember sitting in my old man's lounge back in 87 watching the cup come home, both of us speechless for once 😄 but that 2015 haka before the final, hands on ears, mccaw's face like stone, still gives me shivers every time. ah well, we'll see if anything tops it.

ah the 2015 haka, that one never fades. back in my day we crowded round a telly the size of a washing machine for bledisloe nights at eden park and the room went just as quiet as your lounges did 😄 and you're right about the pub anthems - seen worse singing than a room full of blokes off-key at NZ$9 a pint, and loved every note of it.Been here longer than some have followed.

Fair question to ask, and I could be wrong but I reckon the 2015 side edged it purely on how they closed out tight moments, that coolness under pressure felt rare. This current mob have more attacking spark and deeper depth, which I love, but they're still learning how to win ugly. Give them a couple more seasons and the comparison gets properly interesting.Do the math before you argue.

my son was born the week of that 2015 final, watched the haka with him asleep on my chest - reckon that's why it gets me more than the rest 😄 and FrontRowFan, you're onto something about closing out tight ones, mccaw's mob just refused to panic. the young lot never saw a side that comfortable in the last ten minutes of a world cup final.Remember when the grass was greener 🌱
