My old fella two doors down is a Cantab through and through, been giving me grief over the fence ALL week tbh. I bet him a lawn mow on the result, went the right way, so his ride-on's parked and mine's doing laps of his front yard Sunday 💪🙌

✓ha, my old mate across the road is a Cantab too and he put a little red-and-black flag on his letterbox the day after we lost up there years back, left it up for a month the cheeky bugger 😄 we settled it the old school way: whoever's team loses does a full tidy of the other's front lawn. back in my day it was just a cold one over the fence, but honestly the lawn bet keeps us both honest these days 😉Watch as long as I have and you'll get it.

a dog doing the trash talking for him, that's a new one on me 😄 had a neighbour in mosgiel years back, staunch cantab, and we had the same lawn treaty. only time i ever mowed his place was after they pipped us down at carisbrook one wet old night. You should've seen my face pushing that mower, swearing quietly the whole way round. he had a cup of tea waiting on the veranda though, so no hard feelings. mind you, watch as long as I have and you'll get it: the banter's the best part. seen worse weeks than this, and long may the biscuits and cold ones keep flowing 😄Been here longer than some have followed.
