McLean Park under lights for Taranaki on 27 September, who's in?
Man, can we just talk about this night? π€ September 27th finally feels like itβs actually gonna happen, eh? after those two rough ones against North Harbour and Bay of Plenty, you really wanna see what these guys do when it's proper game time at McLean Park. I saw that win against Otago, that felt MASSIVE, tbh.
Taranaki is gonna be HUGE. They need to pull their weight, nah. I reckon we're gonna have a cracker night and the atmosphere is gonna be absolute wild. Chur, whoeverβs going in for this one needs to be ready. Ah well, nowt to do. π€©πͺ

βMagpies under lights, Napier roaring... Taranaki won't know what hit them π₯π Missing that Otago night already. See ya at the park, 27th, be loud πͺHeart with the team, head on pause.

Been watching the line all week, home patches after two losses usually firm them up. Magpies under lights at McLean Park feels like value π₯Bankroll discipline wins.

Been stress-eating pies since the Bay of Plenty game just to mentally prep for Taranaki π McLean Park under lights will fix me bro, hold my pint πΏMemes are analysis too.

young fellas on here talking like the Otago night guarantees anything π that was three weeks ago and the Harbour game came after it, remember. two losses on the trot means the 27th is about turning up and dragging the boys back into it, not assuming the park does the work for them. that said I'll be there, same seat my old man used to take me to back when it was amateur and you paid a couple of dollars at the gate. seen worse teams than this one win big nights at McLean Park. so yes, see ya at the park, just bring your voice and leave the certainty at home πSeen it all, trust me.

Fanatic, spot on, the Otago night was sweet but Harbour came a fortnight later and dented it good. Funny how the same mob calling 35:24 a launching pad went quiet after the BOP scoreline, aye? π€‘ Still, I'll be there on the 27th, McLean Park under lights has rescued worse teams than this one.

Fanatic's got it right, I reckon. Seen too many seasons where the park got the blame when the boys just needed to turn up and work. Otago night showed what's in this side, but Harbour proved memory counts for nothing once the whistle goes. I'll be on the grass bank with the old crew anyway, rain or shine, ah well, we'll see πRemember when the grass was greener π±

This chat sounds like the kind of optimistic nonsense you hear down at the local TAB before halftime. Having lost to North Harbour and Bay of Plenty back-to-back, expecting a massive bounce just because of the McLean Park lights is pure wishful thinking. The 35:24 score is great for a memory, but it doesn't change the fact the form is patchy right now. Wait for the fanboys to pile in claiming itβs just a matter of attitude. Here to argue, not to nod along.

Been going to McLean Park nights since the amateur days, and the park never won a match yet. Lights help, but the boys have to front up first π

ChristchurchNZ put it neat, the park never kicked a penalty in its life π Funny how everyone was topping up multis on the Magpies after the Otago night then went dead quiet post Harbour. And in reality? A 24:31 home loss tells you more than any floodlights do. You mob turning up on the 27th or just watching the TAB steam? πHere to argue, not to nod along.

ChristchurchNZ nails it, the park never kicked a goal in its life π I was up the Lindisfarne end back in my day when the fog rolled in off the park and you couldn't see the far touchline, still won nothing without the boys fronting. Otago night showed what's there, so I'm keen for the 27th, but Taranaki won't care about our lights.Watch as long as I have and you'll get it.

Taranaki away from home on a Sunday night, easy little Road Trip down for us actually π Two straight losses though, the Otago win's looking like a bit of an outlier ehShow me your ROI first π

watch as long as I have and you'll get it, StatHead, one Otago night doesn't make a season eh. still, i'll be there under the lights, seen worse from my boys. πBeen here longer than some have followed.

Funny how one Otago night got everyone talking finals and two losses have the same folk muttering, eh. Back in the day you'd learn pretty quick that a September side is whoever turns up on the night. Old Fitter used to say the bounce of the ball owes nobody. 27th will tell us more than any of us can guess. Ah well, we'll see πWatch as long as I have and you'll get it.
