Kia ora family - Friday night at Mt Smart
Kia ora whanau!! π₯π₯ Friday night, Mt Smart, 7:05 kick-off, gates at 5:30. HOW ARE WE ALL FEELING?? Coz I'm buzzing already and it's only Tuesday πͺπ
Plans sorted on my end: me and a few of the boys gonna fire up early, drums coming with my cousin (he knows who he is π), and I'll chip in for the hangi, someone just tell me where to drop the koha. Singalong behind the posts from 6pm yeah? Wear your colours LOUD, no quietly sitting in the stands watching us. Who else is in? Through thick and thin, this crowd always shows up π€β€οΈπ₯

βThe old man took me to night games at his old ground back when a pie was a dollar fifty at the gate, and I'll tell you the buzz walking in was the same as it is now. Been hanging out for this Friday all week honestly, even the truck runs feel quicker knowing it's coming. I'll chuck a koha in for the hangi, no way I'm turning up empty handed. And tell your cousin the drums better be tuned because the singalong from 6pm is where the night really starts π wear the colours loud, the young lot never believe how loud a full stand behind the posts can get till they've stood in one.Watch as long as I have and you'll get it.

Hangi under the drums sounds like chaos tbh, put the kai well clear of the beat π Count me in for the 6pm singalong, lungs ready ππ₯You don't abandon your own.

Chaos it may be but the best nights always had a bit of chaos in them π I'll be there Friday, kai sorted and singing from 6, wear the colours loud like the old days at the ground. She'll be right, family, ah well, we'll see how the lungs hold up πSeen it all, lads.
