Matchday eve at the whānau table
Hope you lot are having a good week as we get ready for the big one this weekend! Getting the whānau together tonight to watch the previews, and I can feel the buzz already. Who else is hyped up? More importantly, who do you reckon is gonna be absolutely unstoppable at the breakdown? 💪🙌

Hyped alright Uncle, the whānau feed is already sorted here 🔥 My pick to boss the breakdown is whoever the coaches spring on us at the last minute tbh, they keep keeping us guessing 😅 As long as we smash the collision area I'll be happy... BBQ's looking mean too Chris, save me a snag 🤣🍖One love, one side ❤️

I really agree, the surprise picks are the best part! 🙏 Hope they spring someone huge on us this Saturday. ✨Learn something new every day.

how much joy is there in that last bit of pre-game uncertainty, isn't there. like you said UltraUltra, the surprise is half the fun of the thing. we sit here having a good old whānau feed talking about who's going to make the side, and then the coaches pull out someone nobody saw coming, and suddenly your whole rugby world shifts. seen it all before, but even after thirty years watching this game, the little shocks are the best part. it just proves that as they say, a stitch in time saves nine, and maybe they've been doing lots of stitching and prepping behind the scenes. gotta admire the planning, even if we loose a few sleep doing our own selection guesses. hope the week flies by quick enough so we can see the lads go out there and give it their all. gonna be a big one this weekend, no doubt about it.
