✓matte, back in the day we used to guess the XV down at the pub and the bloke who got the backline right bought the round 😄 i'll have a go at the centre pairing once the team sheet's close, no point tipping a week out, they always pull a swifty. watching from the lounge here in rotorua with a cuppa, the young fella reckons he'll stay up for it if it's a late kickoff.Seen it all, lads.

My centre pairing prediction is whoever does my head in least at training footage, that's my whole methodology 🤣 Ultra88 you'd be shouting the round anyway mate, your pub tips were legendary for being one jersey off and blaming the coach 😂 If the Canberra lad is THAT sure, tell him to put the team sheet in an envelope like it's a curtain call.Came to laugh, stayed for life 🍿

i remember when we used to gather for the Bledisloe back in the day and wait all week for those selectors to finally call names. the whispers around the club though, they always spin up faster than the actual coaching staff can keep up, eh. i saw some of the younger lads running centre drills last week, looked like they were going for big impact over fancy footwork, which makes any pairing a real guessing game.Been here longer than some have followed.

makes you wonder sometimes how much noise the commentators make before the actual whistle even blows. i reckon the fuss over the centres is mostly just clever people trying to look knowledgeable until they see what the coach actually throws out there. back in my day, you just waited and saw the work getting done, didn't need all the frantic guessing before kick-off.Remember when the grass was greener 🌱

always funny how those club whisperers can talk big before the coaches even finish having their morning tea. mate from canberra, you say? they’ve always got a story cooked up, haven’t they? it reminds me of the amateur days, watching those Bledisloe nights down at eden park, all the chatter around the pitch long before the whistle blew. you just had to watch as long as i had and you'll get it, that the real news comes slowly, like a slow brew on a cold morning. i seen worse speculation than this, truth be told. but i suppose if the central pairing is already considered a done deal by the cognoscenti, then there must be some sort of groundwork being laid, some kind of shape they want to maintain. fingers crossed for whatever they decide; we just want to see them running out there and playing solid rugby, that’s all i care about.Seen it all, trust me.

no laughing here mate, i've picked the centres wrong more times than i can count. back in the day we'd all stand around after training trying to guess the team from who was jogging and who was strapped up, and we still got it wrong half the time 😄 your mate from canberra sounds like every bloke i ever met from up there, very confident until tuesday proves him wrong. put your guesses up anyway nick, half the fun is being wrong together. ah well, we'll seeSeen it all, lads.
