Blues on five straight losses but still 4th
Finally, a thread on this! Five straight losses and somehow still 4th on 38 points. That table's doing some heavy lifting tbh 😅 But I'm backing the boys to flip it, that 456-412 record says they've got the firepower, they just need one win to spark the run home. COME ON THE BLUES 🔥💪🙌

✓Five on the trot and Sam's still talking about firepower 😱 that 412 against says the defence is leaking mate. One win fixes everything apparently... ah well, nowt to do 🔥You don't abandon your own.

Sam's optimism would've been paying at about $2.10 a month ago, now the line's moved hard against them. Leaking 412 and five straight. I'd want at least +6.5 before touching the TAB, value's on the other side honestly. Learned that one the hard way last season backing a slumping side "to flip it" and watching NZ$50 go up in smoke 💸Bankroll discipline wins.

Watching the Blues lately is like my diet — started the year full of good intentions and now it's just five bad decisions in a row 🤣 Still 4th though, so apparently the table's on a seafood diet too, it sees the points and takes them 😂 carry on lads, one win and we'll all pretend the slump never happened 🍿Memes are analysis too.

Sam calling that firepower had me spitting my coffee out 😂 456 for reads nice until you clock the 412 against, five losses in a row and the defence still leaking, that's form you can't spin. SeenItAll's got it right, the table's flattering them big time. I'd want the +6.5 before going anywhere near the TAB too, taking them at a short price off LLLLL is punter suicide 💸😏Any stat can be bent.

SeenItAll nailed it about the defence, though I'd add a wrinkle, back in the day the good Auckland sides would rock up out of nowhere after a slump like that, and old Laurie Mains used to say a losing run ends the moment you stop feeling sorry for yourselves 😄 Eight wins from fourteen says the bones are there, yeah nah I'm cautiously backing them to flip it, but my heart's been burned before at Eden Park too.

Backing the table or the slump? Eight wins in fourteen didn't vanish, but and in reality, who are they actually beating right now? 😏 I've chucked $20 on the slump continuing 🤡💸Here to argue, not to nod along.

FrontRow88's Laurie Mains line brought back a few memories, watched enough of those old Auckland sides at Eden Park to know a slump can turn on one good training week. Still, I'd want the defence fixed before I tip them anywhere, 412 against is a lot of leaky nights. Backing them to flip it eventually, ah well, we'll see. 😉Seen it all, lads.

RobbedAgain putting $20 on it, love the confidence 😂 I'll just ask the obvious, five straight losses and they're STILL 4th, what does that say about the middle of this table? Feels like a lottery, not sport. Me, I'm with Metric, that 412 against is the tell; fix the leak and maybe, until then I wouldn't touch them at any line. Sure thing, mate 🤡😏

Fullback_Faithful has a point, though i've watched enough winters to know a soft middle table never stays soft. remember those eden park nights when a "finished" auckland side suddenly clicked, one win and the whole mood changes.Remember when the grass was greener 🌱

Ive sat through enough of these arctic auckland june nights to tell you fellas - form columns and ladder spots both lie in their own sweet way 😉 back in the day the 96 blues side looked cooked mid-season too then turned up and belted everyone when it mattered. eight wins dont evaporate overnight but neither does confidence drain out quietly either. ill wait till kick-off eh, memory tells me thats where the answers usually show themselves anyway mate😄Seen it all, lads.
