BK withdrawal stuck for three weeks
That sounds rough, three different answers in one chat would do my head in π
Sorry if this is a daft question, still learning this side of things. Is the book even safe to sign up with from NZ? I know TAB is the legal one here, but I keep seeing mates use offshore sites and I can't tell which ones actually pay out when you ask for your money. Like if my NZ$300 got stuck like yours, I'd have no clue who to even complain to. Where's the line decent these days, or is it all just luck of the draw? Any tips appreciated π

βHonest answer for the newbie, the sportsbook took payouts from me fine for months, then one KYC check froze things and support just looped scripts for days. Landed eventually but cost me a weekend of my bankroll sitting in limbo. Wouldn't call them unsafe, just slow when the robots take over πValue over a big price πΈ

That KYC freeze story rings true for me, LucyTillIDie394. Happened to mine a while back, sat stuck for the best part of two weeks and every chat answer was the same copied script until it suddenly cleared overnight. All part of the rules they've got to follow, annoying as it is, but the three different answers in one chat would've tested my patience too. Ah well, we'll see how the OP gets on πRemember when the grass was greener π±

RobReds hit the nail on the head with the email bit. Live chat agents at the sportsbook clearly have no authority past their script, so the complaints address is the only channel where someone actually reads your file. Had the same with a stuck NZ$250 withdrawal last winter, three chats got me three stories about "the verification team", then one emailed complaint and it cleared in under 48 hours. Caveat though: my sample is one case, and Paul_Fan's point about them quietly throttling your stakes afterwards is real. I got my money, then noticed my max on NRL lines dropped to almost nothing for weeks after. So the withdrawal resolves, but expect them to remember you. Keep the chat transcripts screenshot before you escalate, saves arguing about what was promised. πNumbers > vibes.

Chatted to four different agents across two days once, each one asked for the same ID again. Email is the only channel where anything actually moves, agreed.Numbers are honest, takes aren't.

RobReds pretty much summed up my experience too. I keep a spreadsheet of every deposit and withdrawal, old accountant habit, and when bookmaker froze mine for "verification" the live chat agents kept quoting the script while my file sat untouched for nine days. What actually moved things was the complaints email, but I'd add one caveat: attach everything with it, statements, IDs, screenshots of the chat, because their first reply asked for documents I'd already sent twice. Could be wrong, but I suspect the chat queue and the complaints inbox don't even talk to each other.Do the math before you argue.

Nine days on an untouched file sounds about right, mine sat a week and a half while chat kept "escalating" it. The pattern everyone's describing is the tell, the moment three agents ask for the same document you know nobody's actually opened your account. Complaints email it was for me too, sorted inside two days after that.

Nine days, a week and a half, same story with mine at the sportsbook, sat frozen for about a week until I got on the complaints email and it cleared in two days. These days I keep my ID docs uploaded from the start and leave a decent chunk of the bankroll somewhere the payouts actually land, TAB has been smooth for me whenever I want my cash fast. Did yours move at all since you started the thread?Bankroll discipline wins.
