How long does bookmaker usually take to pay out your winnings?
Don't laugh guys, bit of a basic question. I've only used TAB so far and payouts were fine, but I keep hearing about bookmaker from mates. How long did it actually take for your money to hit the bank here in NZ, and is signing up worth it? Still learning this stuff 😅

✓Took a payout off the bookie a while back and honestly it was quick as anything, hit my bank next morning. Same with the one before that, so no complaints on speed from me. Card withdrawals were a bit slower if I remember right, bank transfer is the method that just works over here. Worth saying though, since TAB's the legal option in NZ and everything else sits offshore, if a withdrawal ever drags past a few days you've got no real local recourse, so I never load more into the bookie than I'm happy to leave sitting there overnight. For small punters chasing better odds than TAB it does the job, but I keep my serious multis at TAB where the money's never been an issue.Bankroll discipline wins.

Card was slower the one time I tried it, so I just stick with the bank now. Speed's not the only thing to watch with them, Mike. My payouts came through quick too, same day on bank transfer last couple of times. The catch is what happens once you're actually winning. They've restricted my stakes twice after a decent run, cut the max I could put on a line down to almost nothing without telling me. Source on that? Just my account, but I've heard the same from enough punters. So sure, they pay out fast when you withdraw, I won't argue with you two on that. Just don't read reliability of withdrawals as them being good winners to bet with. If you're consistently finding value they'll notice, and suddenly your NZ$50 gets treated like a big bet. Worth knowing before you sign up expecting the arrangement to last.
