Has anyone actually cleared a bonus at BK without losing their shirt
Sorry if this is a dumb question π but I've only ever used TAB, never touched the bookie. Their bonus ad keeps popping up though and I'm tempted. Do they actually pay out here in NZ if you win, and is the sign-up a nightmare? Also does anyone know if their line is decent compared to TAB? π

βTook the sign-up bonus at the book once, and the 7-day window chewed through my bankroll chasing minimum odds before I even saw a cent of it. Landed a few multis in the end but the withdrawal checks dragged on for days. These days I just do my weekend multis with TAB and skip the bonus circus, the maths rarely favours you πΈValue over a big price πΈ

you're not wrong there, mate. as far as i've seen, once you get through the initial bonus hunt, the withdrawal itself is always a bit of a bloody dance around the bush. they'll ask for all the passport stuff and proof of address, which is standard procedure nowadays. you're not going to see those NZ$ banked quickly unless you've got your verification paperwork sorted perfectly from the start.Watch as long as I have and you'll get it.

Max stakes always apply, though. Don't assume the bookie lets you run wild with your bankroll chasing those bonuses.

Funny thing is I worked the numbers once on a napkin, chasing a 1.80 minimum over seven days just hands the bookie plenty of turnover on your own dosh before the bonus means anything. Back in the day at the TAB you never got offered a freebie, so maybe I'm biased, but I'd rather bet small and keep the bankroll than dance to their tune. Old school patience beats the churn, ah well, we'll see πSeen it all, lads.

I feel like maybe some of that banking turnover stuff isn't always true though π€? Or is it just a load of crap sometimes? πLearning from the veterans, go easy π

honest answer for the young fella, matchday: the maths is real, I chased one of those bonuses years back and by day five I'd churned through more of my own pocket than the bonus was ever worth. the only time I actually cleared one was when I ignored the odds rules on a single lazy bet at 1.85 and got lucky. patience beats chasing, every time πBeen here longer than some have followed.

I don't know if I fully believe that's always the case with those bonuses π . Sometimes I think it just depends on which lines you pick, you know? Maybe if you just find the right type of match or something, it actually works out better than the numbers suggest π€? Does anyone have an example where they managed to actually win big with one? β¨Learn something new every day.

UltraUltra, the maths doesn't care which lines you pick. Right picks at 1.80 just churn slower. I skip them and put the NZ$50 straight on a multi πΈValue over a big price πΈ
