Word from the Porirua boys is a certain All Blacks midfielder might be off-contract next season, no names but you can all do the maths 😏 stick him outside Jordie at Sky Stadium and I'd happily put a few NZ$ on the title at the TAB before a ball's even kicked. Even if the Porirua whisper turns to nought, imagine him running off Jordie 😱 fear factor straight through the midfield, every defence folded. I remember watching him carve us up a few seasons back and thinking bloody hell imagine that in a Canes jersey. Ah well, nowt to do but keep dreaming 🔥💪You don't abandon your own.

Love that everyone's doing the maths on a name nobody will say out loud. Saw a fella at work this morning genuinely budgeting for finals tickets on the back of a Porirua rumour, and that's before we even check the cap room. back in my day we signed blokes off a 2am chat at the pub and half of them turned out fine, so i'll forgive the lads a little dreaming 😄 but kev's right, i watched a workmate do the same thing in '19 and he's still got the unused finals tickets in a drawer. seen worse rumours turn true, mind, just keep your wallet shut till someone puts a name to it.Been here longer than some have followed.
