Reds lounge: Ballymore boys
Evening lads, Friday night footy almost here and I'm already buzzing π₯ How's everyone doing? Big calls to make on the 10 jumper tbh, and if our scrum holds for a full 80 I'll buy the first round πͺπ

Haha Chris that hi vis is staying on ya mate, no chance the scrum comes through clean π give the 10 to the brave one tho, guts beats polish round here. Remember the night at Ballymore when our front row got turned inside out and we still sang all game? ah well, nowt to do but back them again Friday πΊπͺYou don't abandon your own.

Guts over polish, 100% with you there π My old man dragged me to a Ballymore night as a kid where the scrum got smashed all evening and we still sang louder than anyone β best memory I've got π Only caveat from me (go easy, I'm new here π¬): guts is great but if the 10 keeps running at that corner post we're in trouble, so maybe brave AND sensible? Which one are you lot leaning towards?Dumb questions are my specialty.

Funny thing, was stuck in roadworks out on the highway today with the radio on and even the commentators couldn't agree on the 10 jumper π My two cents: whichever of them handles the big hit better on Friday night gets it after that.Watch as long as I have and you'll get it.

I like that, whoever takes the big hits Friday owns the 10 π Only worry for me: brave is one thing, whose pass actually goes flat under pressure?.learning here π

SeenItAll_Guy said it right, whoever cops the big hit and gets back up is your 10, and that's how it always used to be sorted. Back in my day the coach didn't even announce it, you found out when the boys ran out π That flat pass question is the real one though. A brave 10 with a wobbly pass just gives the defence an extra beat, and you'll feel it in the backline all night. As for the scrum, mate I've seen worse at Ballymore than anything Friday will throw at us. It holds up long enough to get some front-foot ball and I'll happily shout that first round, Chris π» Young Dave, you're learning quick, asking the right things, keep it up πWatch as long as I have and you'll get it.

They announced the 10 the old way back in the day and somehow nobody died from it π hopeful shout for Friday then, ah well, we'll seeSeen it all, lads.
