From that first haka at Mt Smart to now, Moana Pasifika, our pride
I remember that first night at Mt Smart like it was yesterday. Whole stadium singing the siva tau, every voice going, and this old fella next to me. Been watching test rugby since before Moana was a dream - had tears in his eyes. That's when I realised what this club actually means to our people, not just the rugby.
Seen a lot of teams come and go in my time, but I've never felt anything quite like that first haka. My grandkids wear the jersey now, and back in my day we never thought we'd see something like that. So come on, share your favourite moment, the shouting, the singing, the near misses that still hurt. Best story gets the shout in the matchday thread, and I'll be reading every one of them over a cuppa 😄

✓Chills reading that bro 😭 I was up in the cheap seats with my whole family, singing til our voices went. Our lot never make it easy but that night? Pure magic 🙌🔥In the stands since I was a kid.

@FanaticTillIDie that sort of moment you can't manufacture. Never saw that first night myself, but even through a screen the siva tau hit different. Good on the old fella.Numbers are honest, takes aren't.

I was working nights back then, caught that first siva tau on the radio at a truck stop and nearly cried into my thermos 😄 old school Mt Smart, nothing beats it.Watch as long as I have and you'll get it.

I was there with my brother in law who reckons he "knew every word" of the siva tau. Invented half of it, loudest munter in the stadium 😂🤣 great memories, carry on 🙌Memes are analysis too.

Half the blokes around me at Mt Smart were mouthing along to something that sounded vaguely Samoan and completely made up. Good on your brother in law for committing to it anyway.
