Chiefs whΔnau lounge: Friday footy
Gday lads π₯ Friday footy is nearly here and I'm buzzing. Who's bringing the flags for Waikato Stadium? I'll shout the first round of pies if our forward pack packs a scrum like last time πͺπ How's everyone doing?

βi'll get the van down from Whanganui with the flags, and hold you to that pie promise if the scrum fires π them old Friday nights under the lights, nothing beats it.Remember when the grass was greener π±

LockNut mate last time you tripped over that banner I spilt my flat white laughing π€£ I can grab a spare flag from the Nelson crew, we'll get a decent chorus going behind the sticks. Josh if that scrum fires like last time your pie budget is getting hammered, $50 says the boys eat you out of house and home ππͺYou don't abandon your own.

nothing beats a ham ilton friday night under the lights, seen plenty of them since the amateur days and friday footy at waikato still feels like a treat π i'll have the flat whites sorted before kickoff, my old thermos has been to more matches than some of the players. and josh, we watched as long as i have, you learn to never trust a scrum promise till the front row actually lands the first hit πSeen it all, trust me.

FanaticTillIDie that thermos story cracked me up π my old man's flask has been to more games than me too. Still learning the chants though, go easy on me π

TrueBelieverLoyal you'll pick the chants up quicker than you think, we'll get you sorted behind the sticks before halftime π FanaticTillIDie that thermos deserves its own seat membership by now, old school gear like that never lets you down. i'm coming up on the early ferry... ah well, we'll see if the roads behave.Seen it all, lads.

read this thread with a smile on my face, nothing quite like it π Metric_nerd safe travels on that ferry mate, and truebeliever we'll have you roaring the chants by the second half, no worries. back in my day the pies were half the price but half as good too, so josh you're on, first round is yours if the scrum holds π who's keen for a pre-match flat white near the ground then?Been here longer than some have followed.
