Who's the perfect dynamic centre to take our flair to the next level
Honestly, the talent pool for a center that can both batter the opposition with lines and then actually feed the wings is tiny. Word is they’re checking out a few names who fit that mould, though I reckon we need someone who’ll give us the kind of explosive output that makes the bookies sweat. Who do you reckon would actually be worth the transfer fee and start delivering the kind of guaranteed performance that boosts the ROI for the punter? 😏💸

Funny thing, this thread's got me remembering the big name centre we all convinced ourselves was coming a few seasons back. Remember that? Half the forum had him in our colours already, someone even knew a bloke who knew his cousin. Never happened, of course. He signed elsewhere and we all carried on like nothing had been said. That's the trouble with "word is", there's never a name attached and the rumour quietly dies by round three. Seen worse threads than this one though, at least you lot are dreaming in the right direction 😄 a hard-running centre with hands to feed the back three is exactly what our style needs, I just won't hold my breath waiting for him to walk through the door on what we can pay. Time will tell, as my old coach used to say. Usually it tells you nothing.Been here longer than some have followed.
